The STX Surf Fore the Kids Golf Tournament, presented by the Valero Texas Open, was held on Aug 20, 2022.  Immediately following the awards presentation / dinner, STX held its first Annual Meeting to launch the 2022-23 seasonal year.  We want to thank all the golfers and families who attended the event.  The entire event generated over $15,000 in revenue and new profit was over $6,000 which will go our player scholarship fund and help with the initial development expense for the Stone Oak Sportsplex.  

On July 27-28, 2022 we held our first South Texas Surf Staff Workshop.  This was the first time all staff from all STX Surf regions meet each other in person and were together for a full two (2) days.  Staff learned about the new procedures and policies being put in place to launch the rebranding strategies for STX Surf.  Staff also discussed player development plans for each age groups; and did multiple team building activities.  This was a great time for all, and truly showed why we are going to be successful because our staff team has so much talent and passion for youth soccer.  This is just a the first step in rebuilding the Surf Brand in South Texas.
